Dormakaba Group is seeking a skilled Polisher - Final Finish Specialist to join our team in our Reamstown, PA manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum fabricated parts, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, EHS, and production expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Install or replace polishing belts and discs to maintain optimal polishing performance.
- Polish products to meet specified finishes, utilizing various polishing methods and machinery.
- Teach polishing techniques to other team members to ensure consistency and quality.
- Apply lacquer or statuary finishes as needed to enhance product appearance.
- Perform various duties in the plant, including moving and handling heavy items, and operating factory equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered).
- Demonstrated mechanical abilities.
