Job Description:

As an Environmental Technician at Terracon Consultants, Inc. And Subsidiaries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the environmental integrity of our projects. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting tests and sampling of environmental materials, operating field monitoring equipment, and assisting with the operation and maintenance of remediation systems. You will also be involved in asbestos surveys, abatement projects, and Phase I preliminary site assessments. Additionally, you will transport material samples or documents to the lab for further testing and analysis, tabulate and prepare data for written reports, and maintain field monitoring equipment. Your safety will be our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to strict safety standards and guidelines. • Conduct basic tests as directed using well-defined procedures
• Assist in basic survey/measurement data
• Assist in operating and maintaining remediation systems
• Assist in construction of groundwater monitoring wells
• Assist higher level technicians on complex tasks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

Preferred Certification:

Certification in field of expertise. Other national, regional, state, and local environmental related certifications requiring experience and written examination will also be considered if deemed appropriate by the Terracon Department Manager. About Terracon
