Job Summary

Vireo Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a retail cannabis dispensary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in our team to educate and safely deliver medication to medical cannabis patients.
  • Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Train other team members in the use of cannabis-based medicines, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company standards.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve set goals and performance indicators, driving business growth and success.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and providers, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accountability for assigned drawer, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition of duties.
  • Utilize computer systems and programs to facilitate daily operations, including patient communication, refill orders, and home deliveries.
  • Assist with incoming orders, shipments, and deliveries of supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and continuing education sessions, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Work with our eCommerce platform to review and approve online orders and patient accounts, ensuring seamless integration with our retail operations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by law.
