Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.
  • Support the completion of audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries.
  • Provide bookkeeping services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address accounting and tax-related inquiries.
  • Stay current on accounting and tax regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all work.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification (or actively pursuing) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related accounting field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
