Job Summary:

The Per Diem Pharmacist will be responsible for assessing, verifying, dispensing, labeling, storing, recording, and using pharmaceutical preparations for patients throughout McLean Hospital. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and verify patient-specific factors to ensure optimal clinical care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise, train, and verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns
  • Participate in clinical initiatives, inventory management, educational activities, and hospital/department committees
  • Provide exemplary customer service to patients and staff
Requirements:
  • BS and/or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Residency experience preferred
  • Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or Psychiatry preferred
  • Current unrestricted pharmacy licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Work Schedule:

Rotating shift including weekends, holidays, and on-call
