Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of small- or medium-sized Technical Direction Letter (TDL) initiated projects to develop and deliver digital transformation, modernization, and modifications in accordance with the approved Technical Direction Plan (TDP).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide recommendations, status briefings, and other formal and informal feedback to management on all project aspects.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate activities with Functional Specialists, including contracting, engineering, program control, configuration and data management, test, and logistics operations support.
  • Risk Management: Develop, execute, and monitor risk management strategies to address areas of concern or potential gaps, and apply systems engineering principles, techniques, services, and practices for a disciplined approach to meeting TDL projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical technical data for inclusion in TDL planning to support MESP requirements, establishing processes for accessing, updating, and distributing technical direction as required by the MESP.
  • Technical Expertise: Support system planning and market analysis and provide technical subject matter expertise on engineering documents in the program, project, and Systems Engineering Management Plans.
  • Communication and Reporting: Give Project Status Reviews and presentations to accountable sponsors and Project Governance Meetings, and provide technical risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and options to improve program integration.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Reports to the Mission Engagement Regional Manager III, monitors project work quality, and supervises and mentors subordinates.
  • Cost and Schedule Management: Coordinates cost and schedule issues with both the respective Regional Site Manager and the Business Operations Director, when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Relevant industry standard certifications such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), or equivalent certification.
  • Skills: Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
