The Registered Nurse RN Pre-Admit role is a key position in our hospital's perioperative care team. As a nurse coordinator, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing pre-admission assessments.

Job Summary:

  • Assumes responsibility for efficient patient flow throughout the pre-admission process.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of clinical components of care required in the Pre-admit area to provide for direct patient care.
  • Maintains communication with the director or designee and Anesthesia staff to ensure that any problems during pre-registration are promptly communicated.
  • Performs pre-operative assessment of patients in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous clinical nursing experience in PACU environment desired.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
