Are you a skilled carpenter looking for a seasonal opportunity to work on roller coasters and other attractions? Do you have a passion for woodworking and a strong attention to detail? We're seeking a Maintenance Carpenter to join our team at Cedar Point

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance work on various attractions, including wooden rides, and other carpentry-related tasks in the park. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance work on various attractions, including wooden rides, and other carpentry-related tasks in the park.
  • Work out of lifts and climb roller coasters as needed.
  • Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving guests or working with subordinates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adhere to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards.

Qualifications:
  • Union Journeyman's card as a Carpenter in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Not afraid of heights.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
