Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at Burgess Norton Mfg Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tool services, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing exceptional support to our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and organize the day-to-day operation of tool services, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and that work areas and stock are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas and stock to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Handle all EECR traffic, ensuring that the sign-off procedure is followed and that overdue EECRs are investigated and closed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, including issuing and receiving tools, and updating inventory records in E2.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure that all tool revisions are properly documented and implemented.
  • Provide exceptional support to the production team, including handling shipping and receiving needs, and working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of tools and supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with experience or vocational/technical certification required.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including PC knowledge and current technology software familiarity.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
