Cloud Engineering Opportunity

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

Location: Remote (US)

Stelvio Group is seeking a skilled Senior Azure Engineer to design, implement, and ensure the scalability of large cloud infrastructures. If you have a passion for building cloud-native solutions that tackle complex challenges, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

In this position, you'll play a key role in shaping project direction, guiding initiatives from concept to execution. A deep understanding of the Azure cloud ecosystem, proficiency in C#, and experience with user-facing web interfaces are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud-native systems, selecting the best Azure components for performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost.
  • Implement all aspects of cloud-native solutions in Azure.
  • Create detailed documentation and communicate design decisions, including the pros and cons of infrastructure choices.
  • Collaborate with QA for smooth testing processes and provide necessary support.
  • Translate product requirements into optimal technical solutions.
  • Break down projects into epics and stories for accurate time and effort estimates.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in creating cloud-native applications in Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, message queues, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, REST API, and OAuth.
  • Experience with React JS and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
  • Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot cloud applications.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on ownership and results.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
