Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Architect

A highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Architect is sought to assist our teams in modernizing our core application stack to the cloud. This role will be a key member of the team responsible for delivering the design and roadmap to transform our software stack and move to a SaaS enabled framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on AWS, with 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering. They will have a deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and more. AWS certifications are preferred.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to lead by example and work as a part of an extended global team. They will also have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and an understanding of Healthcare requirements such as HIPAA, PII, or PHI.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering with a strong focus on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practices
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex software solutions via AWS
  • Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and more
  • AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional) are preferred
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lead by example and work as a part of an extended global team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of Healthcare requirements such as HIPAA, PII, or PHI
