Responsibilities- Assist in complex CV surgical cases as part of a team of highly specialized physicians and assistants.
- Harvest veins and close the chest.
- Perform procedures such as central line placement, chest tube placement, and arterial line placement.
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Rounding primarily in a 20-bed CVICU.
- Surgical background, preferably in CV surgery.
- Team player with a resilient personality.
- Willing to take initiative and work independently.
