Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in writing and reviewing subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review project documents and become familiar with project participants to enable productive day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in determining submittal requirements and preparing and maintaining submittal logs.
  • Expedite materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and meet project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and make regular site visits to ensure project progress.
  • Maintain daily records and prepare and submit weekly time sheets and prevailing wage payrolls.
  • Receive, evaluate, and disseminate correspondence and directives between project participants.
  • Assist in maintaining project files and documentation.
  • Track subcontractor and supplier work and provide justification for billing.
  • Expedite and obtain necessary permits and record documents.
  • Administer the Zero Punch List policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years' progressive experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of methods and technology, sufficient to determine proper construction sequencing and review submittals.
  • Ability to maintain, inform, and communicate with the construction team.
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions on behalf of the company.
  • Working knowledge of computers and standard company software.
