An Operating Room Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
• Monitor and maintain PAR levels of surgical instruments and supplies
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities
Requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on-the-job experience
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
