Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at St. Luke's Health-Memorial. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with our medical team to deliver high-quality care.

• Operate radiation therapy equipment to simulate and treat patients for disease
• Provide patient orientation, explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care
• Perform therapy, including positioning patients, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings
• Assist patients as needed and maintain patient safety through attention to detail and effective communication
• Provide emergency care and notify appropriate personnel as needed

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Program in Radiation Therapy or a suitable equivalent
• One (1) year related work experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) program
• Licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• Registered in Radiation Therapy R.T.(R)(T) through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Two (2) years of experience in discipline
