Job Overview

This is a dynamic leadership role within Chico's FAS, Inc. - Retail that requires an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to oversee store operations and ensure exceptional customer service.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Role

The Sales Lead will be responsible for promoting a customer-focused sales culture, supporting management in driving store performance, and ensuring a positive work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive for Results:
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for achieving performance standards.
  • Supervise basic operational activities, such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; present and display merchandise in accordance with current promotions and standards.
  • Develop a high-performance culture, motivating sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
Build High Performing Teams:
  • Motivate and inspire store team members, promoting a shared vision while modeling core values.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Communicate with store teams and Store Management to effectively lead positive change.
Customer Experience:
  • Model, teach, and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
Talent:
  • Support, implement, and provide follow-up for all training programs, seminars, etc.
  • Assist in the development of store associates; interpret Key Performance Indicator reports and deliver coaching as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
