Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate the electrical design of x86 motherboards, including signal/power topology, test point locations, and board bring-up flow. Your expertise in using equipment like PCIe/USB3/UFS Logic Analyzer, Silicon PVT characterization, and board bring-up and testing will be invaluable in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you will need:
• A strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Experience with board/chip bring-up flow, including verifying No-Stuff components, impedance of voltage rails, etc.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python/Perl and proficiency in Windows & Linux OS
• Excellent communication skills to convey observations/requirements clearly and concisely
• Hands-on experience with equipment like DSO, Multimeter, Power supplies, and oscilloscope/probe BW measurement
