About the Role

Catalent Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of multiple revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business to assist in the review of sales agreements and contracts to assess the revenue recognition impact
  • Experience with revenue recognition applying GAAP/ASC 606 principles
  • Ability to identify and understand performance obligations associated with revenue recognition
  • Ability to calculate and publish month-end revenue recognition with proper backup
  • Partner with corporate controlling and internal audit in the management of financial accounting policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and internal controls for the site
  • Review current revenue recognition processes/procedures and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and timeliness of the close and reporting
  • Direct ownership and accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the reported revenue
  • Complete required ASC 606 checklist for all new sales agreements/contracts
  • Complete assigned month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies and procedures
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
  • Assist in month-end reporting and ad hoc analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, highly preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a SOX compliant company
  • Advanced ability to gather, monitor, analyze and document data
  • Advanced PC skills, including advanced spreadsheet functions (e.g. Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas)
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
