Job Overview

The main objective of this role is to oversee a retail outlet for 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers, including the Service Department, while optimizing all financial prospects. Independent decision-making is crucial in this position. All personnel are expected to perform their duties safely and in accordance with company policies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service;
  • Ensure adherence to Company compliance standards (including the Service Department);
  • Respond promptly to evolving sales opportunities;
  • Implement monthly merchandising displays;
  • Share current market insights with team members;
  • Report competitor activities to the Regional Manager;
  • Maintain compliance with fixture usage and upkeep standards;
  • Oversee stockroom (warehouse) standards;
  • Ensure Service Department compliance with safety standards (Eye Protection);
  • Uphold the Company dress code policy (including the Service Department);
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions;
  • Encourage employee participation in required training programs (including the Service Department);
  • Conduct interviews and hiring processes; explain employee benefits; perform performance evaluations and manage terminations;
  • Facilitate merchandise sales to customers, demonstrating effective selling techniques;
  • Monitor cashier performance and related reports;
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements, if applicable;
  • Maintain quality in ordering processes;
  • Address overstock/understock situations to ensure the integrity of the ordering system;
  • Follow Company policies regarding freight receiving and stocking;
  • Stay informed about daily/weekly sales and take necessary actions;
  • Ensure the facilities are well-maintained (including the Service Department);
  • Review, analyze, and act on financial reports;
  • Protect Company assets;
  • Control operational expenses;
  • Discuss Profit and Loss results with the Regional Manager;
  • Address customer feedback, comments, and requests;
  • Complete daily and weekly time and attendance tasks;
  • Manage maintenance and repair needs (including the Service Department);
  • Prepare the store for inventory audits;
  • Ensure compliance with defective merchandise handling procedures;
  • Adhere to Company policies for freight shipping;
  • Perform additional management duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties

This role directly supervises subordinate supervisory staff (Assistant Manager) and non-supervisory employees, executing supervisory responsibilities in line with 4 Wheel Parts policies and relevant laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining employees, as well as conducting performance evaluations and resolving complaints.

  • Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals;
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence;
  • Effective communication skills with both employees and customers;
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English;
