Position: Manufacturing Technician
As a Manufacturing Technician (MT) at Synova USA, you will be a key technical resource engaged in diagnosing and resolving issues with laser microjet machinery within our Micro Machining center and across various locations.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist our clientele by effectively troubleshooting and rectifying machine or manufacturing process challenges, whether remotely or on-site. Additionally, you will play a vital role in maintaining our internal equipment utilized for testing and application development, while also supporting the programming, setup, and operation of our proprietary CNC-controlled Laser MicroJet systems.
The MT will collaborate closely with customers, application engineers, administrative staff, and sales teams to fulfill customer requirements. A self-driven and independent work ethic is essential, as the MT should be capable of operating with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting capabilities.
- Interpret and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Experience with CNC machinery or automation is advantageous.
- Possess intermediate analytical problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit proven analytical abilities and sound technical judgment.
- Laser technology experience is a plus.
- Hands-on proficiency with tools and equipment, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety practices.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Technical degree accompanied by 1-3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Conduct machine inspections, gather data, and compile job reports.
- Ability to understand and adhere to safety protocols, operational guidelines, maintenance instructions, and specifications communicated through various channels.
- Complete tasks as assigned with minimal oversight.
- Document new procedures as they are established.
- Support Application Engineers and service technicians as needed for specialized projects.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of Laser Microjet CNC machines in line with established manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
- Possess a dynamic, results-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in computer applications (Windows and Microsoft Office); CAD/CAM experience is beneficial.
