Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Assembler III, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of electronic and mechanical systems. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
1.

Follow detailed documentation to construct both tabletop and standalone systems/assemblies. You will also be tasked with building sub-assemblies and integrating them into complete builds for technical evaluation.

2.

Calibrate sensitive equipment and test various component combinations as per customer specifications to verify proper functionality.

3.

Engage in the construction and alignment of optical sub-systems.

4.

Perform basic troubleshooting tasks independently before escalating issues to a technician.


Work Environment:
This role is situated in a dynamic work setting where tasks may require a diverse skill set and priorities can shift rapidly. Flexibility is essential to accommodate customer demands.

Administrative Duties:
In addition to assembly tasks, you will interact daily with our inventory control system, which includes closing work orders and updating inventory records to reflect physical movements. You will also be encouraged to provide written suggestions for enhancing documentation and to document troubleshooting processes as they occur.

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position ranges from $20 to $25 per hour.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a manufacturing assembler
- Proficiency in cable harness assembly and installation
- Ability to work with sensitive fibers and perform optical alignment/calibration.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with soldering (small components)
- Familiarity with micro-meter reading.
