About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte in Shelby, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation, analyzing it to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
  • Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
  • Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the RN works.

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
