Description: As a member of our team at Kennedy Space Center, you'll play a critical role in developing, testing, and maintaining launch control systems that ensure safe and efficient space exploration missions. Your expertise in software development, particularly in C, C++, and Linux, will be invaluable in designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software for launch control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware and other systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop and implement test procedures to evaluate system performance
  • Document test results and associated issues

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on launch control systems and gateways
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Linux
  • Experience with network protocols, interfaces, and telemetry processing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
