Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines and computed tomography (CT) scanners.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, including X-rays and CT scans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
