Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast agents and other medications as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
