Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, grooming, and dressing
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks

  • Practice infection control measures
  • Plan and prepare meals according to nutritional needs
  • Transport clients to and from medical and social appointments
  • Document services provided
  • Remind clients to take medicine and offer minimal assistance
  • Observe and document any changes in the client

Requirements:

  • One year full-time experience in caregiving/home care within 5 years, or one year full-time experience of providing personal care in a hospital or nursing home
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Must be willing and ready to comply with all policies and procedures
  • Must be willing to undergo orientation training and at least 8 hours of on-job training annually
  • Must be willing to attend meetings and take part in studies and surveys when called upon to do so
  • Must be compassionate, patient, and caring enough to work in stressful environments and to care for clients of all personalities
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the physical, psychological, and developmental needs of iProvide Home Care Solutions, LLC clients
  • Must be willing and ready to respect iProvide Home Care Solutions, LLC clients and their property
