AutoCAD Draftsman

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Engineer to support the Engineering department in Florence, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting blueprints, drafting in AutoCAD, and assisting with projects.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and build details for the design of electric substations.
• Drafting Support: Provide drafting support using AutoCAD and/or Solid Works.
• Project Management: Assist in managing projects for production development, design criteria, and product improvement.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Data Analysis: Gather, organize, and analyze data relating to Engineering-sponsored projects, including prototype builds, new products, and new process introduction.
• Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance, as needed, to Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and other members of the team.

• Education: Two-year degree or equivalent certification in design engineering or design-related engineering.
• Experience: Two years of experience in design engineering or design-related engineering, with proven work history of AutoCAD/Drafting/Solid Works knowledge and exposure.
• Skills: Above-average computer skills in Microsoft Office Software.
