AutoCAD Engineer Job Description

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Engineer to support the Engineering department in Florence, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting blueprints, drafting in AutoCAD, and assisting with projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and build details for the design of electric substations.
  • Drafting support using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Create routings for new/revised materials for entry into SAP.
  • Assist in managing projects for production development, design criteria, and product improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data relating to Engineering-sponsored projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and other team members.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year degree or equivalent certification in design engineering or a related field.
  • Proven work history of AutoCAD/Drafting/SolidWorks knowledge and exposure.
  • Above-average computer skills in Microsoft Office Software.
