About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to patients with a range of psychiatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in nursing in Massachusetts.
  • 2 years' recent psychiatric experience, with a working knowledge of ambulatory care needs and inpatient discharge processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
