Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Salesperson to join our team at our Lexington Park, MD location. As a Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and organized store environment, and working effectively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of safety and security in the store at all times
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers, including handling orders and resolving issues
  • Maintain the store's appearance and merchandising standards
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Utilize computerized systems and applications to manage inventory, process transactions, and analyze sales data
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales and customer service skills
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Perform physical inventories and line counts, and stock shelves and pull customer orders
Requirements
  • Clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Professional working attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
