Quality Trainee Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Trainee to join our team at Bonnell Aluminum. As a Quality Trainee, you will assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems and practices, working closely with experienced quality professionals to learn the ins and outs of quality control and assurance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the inspection and testing of incoming materials as part of the release process
  • Interface with internal clients to identify incoming materials requiring release
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Support ISO 9001 and TS16949 as well as other regulatory, agency, and notification bodies
  • Support quality improvement efforts in designated areas with the goal of improving "zero defects" and performance
  • Work with manufacturing teams to conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Track and measure critical processes within the plant
  • Assist in the investigation and removal of non-conforming materials

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a basic math skill test
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively, self-motivated, self-starter
  • Pass company background check and drug screening
