Homecare Specialist

Focal Point Homecare is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Caregiver Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of client homes, including tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes, and tidying.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Assist clients with planning appointments and organizing their schedules, ensuring timely and efficient transportation arrangements.
• Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping: Plan and prepare meals that meet clients' specific dietary needs, and shop for groceries as required.
• Client Engagement: Encourage clients to participate in social activities and community events, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

• Interpersonal Skills: Possess sensitivity and compassion towards clients, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Diversity and Inclusion: Be able to work effectively with a diverse population of people, respecting their individual needs and preferences.
• Pet-Friendly Environment: Be comfortable dealing with a variety of household pets, including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and other animals.
• Age and Education: Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Transportation and Licensing: Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Language Proficiency: Be fluent in the English language.
