Role Summary
This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional who will play a pivotal part in the financial operations of the Governmental Training, Education, and Development (GTED) Division. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the processing of credit card transactions, including deposits and refunds, utilizing the TouchNet system.
  • Oversee all invoicing activities, including service agreements and work contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
  • Facilitate back-end registrations as directed by GTED coordinators and assist clients with any registration-related inquiries.
  • Handle collections for outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and organized departmental accounting records and files.

Operational Duties
  • Post financial entries from various systems into the internal management software, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Assist in reconciling financial reports with departmental accounts, providing insights for effective financial management.
  • Support the daily operations of the financial unit to ensure optimal utilization of fiscal resources.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and policies, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
