Job Overview

Position Summary:
Affinity Group is seeking a Culinary Product Ambassador to engage customers through food demonstrations. The role involves showcasing and selling various products while providing valuable information to enhance customer experience.

The Culinary Product Ambassador will be responsible for educating customers about product features, pricing, and their placement within the store. Each demonstration lasts four hours, requiring one hour for setup and approximately 30 minutes for breakdown. A recap of each demo must be documented in an Excel format and submitted accordingly. Compensation for each demo is a flat rate fee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with enthusiasm and warmth.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting customers in locating products.
  • Prepare and organize the demonstration area effectively.
  • Utilize Demonstration POS to present vendor products attractively.
  • Offer samples and articulate the benefits and features of the products.
  • Maintain a professional and polished appearance.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Provide accurate reporting of hours worked and sales achieved.
  • Responsible for cleaning the demonstration area post-event.
  • Handle products that may be heavy or cumbersome.
  • Monitor other merchandise in the store for proper labeling and expiration dates.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and a neat appearance.
  • Previous experience in food service is advantageous.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Access to a computer and the internet is required.
  • Possession of a smartphone capable of taking and sending images.
  • Basic computer proficiency is essential.
  • Ability to read and understand safety protocols and operational instructions.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
