Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Develop and execute project plans, work breakdown structures, and associated budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of automation systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring the highest quality of work and adherence to industry standards.
  • System Design: Design and implement electrical schematics, control panels, and associated NEC references for automation systems.
  • Programming and Implementation: Program and implement RTUs, PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and industrial networks for automation systems.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions, mentor less experienced engineers, and ensure overall project profitability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Greater than 10 years of experience in automation systems engineering, with a strong background in industries such as Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Mining, Life Sciences, Building Automation, Manufacturing, or Food & Beverage.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Skills: Strong technical ability, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities, results-oriented and self-motivated, proven experience in architecting, managing, and executing large, complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Travel: Ability to travel across the United States as projects require.
