Job Summary

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is seeking a skilled litigation paralegal to support attorneys working on commercial litigation matters in State and Federal courts throughout Ohio and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Trial Preparation: Assist in the preparation of pleadings, notices, and motions for filings in state and federal court.
  • Deposition Support: Assist in the preparation of deposition notices and deposition materials.
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents.
  • Client and Witness Coordination: Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for interviews and depositions.
  • Discovery Management: Track and manage discovery, including document productions and e-discovery.
  • Document Filing: Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents, including e-filing.
Qualifications
  • Education: 2 or 4-year degree and paralegal certificate preferred; may substitute work experience for education level.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting (defense side).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Ohio state courts and federal court rules and procedures; proficiency in legal research tools, document management and document review systems (Westlaw, iManage, and Nuix/fka Ringtail strongly preferred).
