Job Opportunity: Litigation Paralegal

Hahn Loeser & Parks is seeking a skilled litigation paralegal to support attorneys in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience and strong knowledge of Ohio state courts and federal court rules and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare drafts of pleadings, notices, and motions for filings in state and federal court.
  • Assist in the preparation of deposition notices and deposition materials.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for interviews and depositions.
  • Track and manage discovery, including document productions and e-discovery.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents, including e-filing.
Qualifications:
  • 2 or 4-year degree and paralegal certificate preferred; may substitute work experience for education level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting (defense side).
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A high attention to detail and the ability to take ownership over projects.
  • A positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
