Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Candidate Sourcing and Research: Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and attract top talent in skilled trades recruiting.
  • Job Postings: Ensure job postings are up-to-date and accurately reflect the requirements of skilled trades positions.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating job offers for skilled trades roles.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their skilled trades recruiting needs and achieve hiring goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and share knowledge with the team to maintain VIP Staffing's competitive edge in skilled trades recruiting.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle payroll processing with precision and efficiency.
  • Interviews and Resumes: Conduct in-depth interviews, craft impactful resumes, and manage employee drug screening.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience specializing in skilled trades recruiting and staffing.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Interviewing Skills: Proficiency in conducting comprehensive interviews to identify top skilled trades talent.
  • Phone Screening: Expert phone screening abilities to ensure no detail is overlooked.
  • Communication Skills: Professional email communication skills and understanding of business etiquette.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to ensure every interaction is a positive experience.
  • Resume Writing: Ability to create persuasive resumes that effectively represent skilled trades candidates.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Avionte Bold software is a plus for skilled trades recruiting efficiency.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
