Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Raw Materials Handler to join our team at LMI Aerospace. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, from receiving and storing raw materials to shipping finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate shear equipment to meet production requirements
  • Perform shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory activities on a daily basis
  • Load and unload trucks using fork trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed
  • Unpack crates and boxes, check items for accuracy and damage, and document accordingly
  • Process all system transactions related to shipping, receiving, and bin transferring
  • Assist with production operations as needed, including roll-forming skin panels
  • Perform lean and 6S functions to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Assist in investigating and resolving errors or issues, and implementing corrective actions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to complete all job duties and interact with all employees, customers, vendors, and others in a manner consistent with LMI values and principles
  • Ability to operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Ability to read and interpret basic work order instructions and other drawings to accurately produce and assemble kits
  • Excellent organizational skills and the discipline to maintain organizational systems and keep all work areas neat and clean
