Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to work with geriatric patients in our assisted living facility. As an OT, you will conduct detailed evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and build relationships with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify residents' strengths and areas for growth, enabling the creation of tailored treatment plans that inspire progress.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice and current trends in occupational therapy to promote effective care.
  • Establish strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare teams to foster trust, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes, ensuring seamless care transitions and informed decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Occupational Therapist license in the state.
  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations and across age groups is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and current technology.
