This is a Part Time position at Ministry Link. The organization is currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to contribute to the upkeep of their facilities.

Position Overview:

This part-time, salaried role is essential in supporting the mission of the organization by ensuring that the building is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly emptying waste receptacles throughout the facility
  • Managing waste disposal logistics
  • Cleaning and restocking restroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, and floors
  • Communicating supply needs to the appropriate personnel
  • Vacuuming and mopping various flooring surfaces
  • Maintaining cleanliness of window sills, blinds, and furniture

Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling in collaboration with leadership.

Reporting Structure: The Facility Maintenance Specialist will report to the designated leadership and will have annual performance evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • 10 days of leave to be utilized at the employee's discretion
  • Paid holidays recognized by the organization

Salary: Annual compensation of $12,500

Additional Requirements:

Health Documentation: A medical certificate confirming a negative PPD test is necessary upon employment commencement.

Background Checks: Employees must undergo background checks every five years, with costs covered by the organization.

Leave Policy: Salary remains unaffected by short-term illness, with arrangements for longer-term illness to be discussed as necessary.

Unemployment Policy: As a non-profit entity, the organization does not engage in federal or state unemployment programs.
