At Life Care Center of Sandpoint, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Preventionist. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a safe environment.
About the RoleThis full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control within our facility. As an Infection Preventionist, you will be responsible for monitoring public health advisories, serving as the on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention and response activities, and developing and implementing the Antibiotic Stewardship Program.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, to attract top talent in the field.
Requirements- Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)
- Licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
- Prior experience with geriatrics preferred
A strong understanding of infection control trends, methodologies, and employee health practices is essential for this role. If you have specialized IPC training beyond initial professional training or education prior to assuming the role, that's a definite plus.
