Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager, playing a crucial role in generating precise and timely financial reports. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting internal control measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accuracy of Divisional Bill of Materials entries and ensure data integrity.
  • Manage updates related to costs and standards.
  • Facilitate the weekly interface between the ERP and General Ledger Systems.
  • Execute various general ledger entries and month-end closing procedures.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, variance analyses, and accrual calculations.
  • Support inventory assessments, including active and slow-moving items.
  • Prepare standard monthly reports, including metrics related to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  • Assist in the preparation for Divisional Physical Inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and control procedures.
  • Contribute to audit preparations by organizing necessary documentation.
  • Provide backup support to the Accounting Manager as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in an accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
