Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Engineering to join our team at Doubletree by Hilton Colorado Springs. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel's engineering systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, and execution
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to the maintenance team, and work with contractors and internal resources to ensure seamless execution
  • Lead the installation of new equipment and troubleshoot and repair hotel systems, facilities, and equipment
  • Monitor and control costs associated with repairs and replacements, and ensure the hotel runs efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Previous Director of Engineering experience in a hotel setting is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in hotel engineering
  • Total engineering experience should be at least six years
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively delegate work and tasks to subordinates
