Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Alumni Tech Hall Aide to support our Trades and Engineering Technologies department. As a recent graduate of the Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Biomedical Electronics, or Automation Technology program, you will play a vital role in assisting full-time and adjunct faculty in the Tech Hall and Mech Hall. Your primary responsibilities will include answering student questions, signing off on student labs, and administering exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach students on course material in conjunction with the faculty lead.
  • Sign off on lab activities and administer exams.
  • Support independent lab work in the Tech and Mech Hall.
  • Participate in department recruitment activities by sharing your experience as a student on campus and in the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of the subject matter and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 and a flexible schedule that includes approximately 3-10 hours per week between Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-3pm, and Saturday 8am-1pm. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
