Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Controller to join our team at Liberty Staffing USA. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee aircraft maintenance operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and systematic troubleshooting of discrepancies.
  • Monitor work progress, provide technical assistance, and coordinate part movements as needed.
  • Approve and record deferred or carried-over items, and maintain a daily log of all maintenance activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our maintenance program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Function as the first level of corporate maintenance management for line maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Discuss pilot reports and non-routine items with line mechanics, ensuring compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company regulations.
  2. Ensure that all work request items and scheduled maintenance are in order, allowing for timely completion of tasks.
  3. Monitor check remaining times and make controlled work assignments to address chronic problems.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including discrepancies by aircraft registration numbers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have A&P certification.
  • Experience in aviation maintenance management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
