Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our donation center, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring a positive experience for our donors, and supporting the efficient processing of donations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean the donation trailer/pod, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for donors.
  • Assist donors in the receipt of donated items, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Sort and separate donations into designated containers, adhering to The Salvation Army's guidelines.
  • Collaborate with TSA PA/Drivers to load donations onto trucks, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Monitor and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of the donation center.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance.
