Mental Health Nurse Specialist

Amergis offers a $65,000 - $85,000 per year salary for this position. As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist at Amergis, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities. Your expertise will be utilized to promote well-being through prevention and education, as well as the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient recovery goals through effective partnership
- Conduct intake screening, evaluation, and triage
- Provide case management and teach self-care activities
- Administer and monitor psychobiological treatment regimens
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
- Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
