Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution
Licenses Required:
Current DEA License (or to be obtained upon hire)
Active Veterinary State License
USDA Accreditation (or to be obtained upon hire)
Additional Information
  • Special Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Confidence around various animal species (e.g., dogs, cats, birds, reptiles).
  • Work volume may occasionally exceed 40 hours per week to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
  • May require special hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must possess cognitive abilities for reasoning, memory, mathematics, and language skills to perform duties effectively.
  • The work environment may have moderate noise levels; ear protection is available upon request.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity are necessary for operating equipment and performing tasks.
  • Exposure to a variety of animals and potential hazards is routine.
