Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Care Veterinary Center. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia and surgery
  • Collecting and analyzing lab samples, such as blood and urine
  • Performing diagnostic imaging, including radiographs and dental radiographs
  • Providing nursing care to medical and hospitalized patients
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Communicating effectively with clients and providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
